to follow up on Chris Mackie’s recent comment on facebook…

Mackie is thinking that every unexpected software-vendor merger (Sun-Oracle, Angel-Blackboard, Yahoo-anybody) in these recessionary times strengthens the argument that community source software is more stable than the proprietary alternatives. What a turnaround from the conventional wisdom of just a couple years ago!”

We’ve been working in a broad range of open source initiatives for a while here in A&RT. Our latest testbed is FISHSTICKS. I guess I’ll have Drupal, Wordpress, Wordpress MU, LDAP, and twitter as sides with my fishstick lunch.
